WHAT'S A BUSINESS ECOSYSTEM?

IN THE NEW ECONOMY WE ARE CREATING NOWADAYS, THERE IS A VERY IMPORTANT ELEMENT, THAT CAN HELP BUSINESSES TO INCREASE: BUSINESS ECOSYSTEM IS THE GROUP OF ENTERPRISES THAT JOIN OBJECTIVES AND TAKE CARE OF THE PARTNERS.

One of the first falling industries when the crisis came was, with construction, transport. It is easy to understand that construction needs transport. A lot of materials have to be moved from one place to another. An important percentage of lorries of our roads were cement mixers. And when houses started not to be sold, the same thing happened with the furniture. And because furniture needed transport, the problem affected this industry.

Industries depend on each other. We know this for a long time and we didn’t work on it. We all usually Thought that this couldn’t change. Nowadays, when nothing can work in the future without changing, every industry is a piece of a puzzle to work with.

Business ecosystem is to connect enterprises from different industries to collaborate. This way they are not client and supplier but partners making growth together. They share objectives and efforts for the future.

If a group of national competitors thought that they all have a place in the international market, they could work together for getting it. Working this way, they could think about specializing for not to be competitors in the outside market. If they organized a local fair in the place where they are located, they could even collaborate with tourist industry.

Definitely, it is possible to find ways for improving the Economy. For example, joining Spanish speakers with English speakers in “bares de tapas”  or in a "British pub" they can chat and improve the knowledge of the other language. That’s good for the bar and the pub, because they have new clients. It’s good for the foreigners too, because they know real Spain and learn Spanish. People in Spain improve English that is very useful to apply for a job and for exporting. And they could easily prepare a visit to UK or any other land where English is spoken.

SAN JUAN Bilingüe started last July working on this idea. One of its objectives is to turn Alicante and surrounding area into a bilingual place where people can come for improving English or Spanish (linguistic tourism). That would be very interesting for a lot of people, obviously.
